WOMAN JAILED FOR MAIL THEFT, HARASSMENT

A Roseburg woman was jailed for mail theft and harassment by Roseburg Police on Monday afternoon.

A report from RPD said just after 4:30 p.m. staff at a business in the 1600 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard allegedly watched the 25-year old suspect remove five pieces of mail from their mailbox. The report said that staff followed the woman and ultimately confronted the her about the theft. The report said the female shoved the victim when they tried to recover their mail.

The woman was taken into custody. After arraignment on Tuesday, bail was set at $20,000.
