A Roseburg man was jailed in a theft incident by Roseburg Police on Monday.

An RPD report said just after 1:00 a.m. 47-year old Wayne Wilson was contacted in the 2600 block of Diamond Lake Boulevard. It had been reported that the man had stolen a flag from the Chevron Station and was trying to burn it. The report said the man was screaming and yelling, causing alarm to people in the area.

Bail was set at $7,500.
