ROSEBURG PUBLIC SCHOOLS OFFERING MEALS OVER SUMMER BREAK

Roseburg Public Schools will continue offering meals over the summer break at various locations through Lunchbox Express Buses.

A release said the free meals include breakfast and lunch items, and will be served at Lunchbox Express sites and various bus stops around the community.

Meals are being offered Monday’s through Fridays at these locations and times:

*11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at Saddle Butte

*11:25 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. at Eastwood Park

*11:55 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. at Thompson Park

*12:25 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. at Stewart Park

*12:50 p.m. to 1:05 p.m. at Hucrest Elementary

*1:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Lookingglass Apartments

A Lunchbox Express bus will deliver meals to other locations around the Roseburg School District. Those locations are listed with our story at www.541radio.com

  • 11:10 a.m. at Highway 99 South and Green Siding
  • 11:20 a.m. at Speedway and Sherron Estates
  • 11:30 at Carnes and Riverplace
  • 11:40 at Corona Loop and Belmont
  • 11:50 a.m. at Callahan & Othello
  • Noon at Georginna & Lakewood
  • 12:10 p.m. at Happy Valley & Krohn
  • 12:20 p.m. at Highway 42 South and Valley View Mobile Home Park
  • 12:30 p.m. at Landers and Melody
  • 12:40 p.m. at Rolling Hills and Harmony
  • 12:50 p.m. at Grange and Evergreen Grange
  • 1 p.m. at Kermanshah and Autumn
  • 1:15 p.m. at Glengary Loop and Roberts Creek Road

Meals are available to all children and teens 18 years and younger. They are “grab n go” meals, which adults may pick up for students.

The summer food program is part of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs.
