A transient from the Canyonville area was jailed on firearms charges Wednesday afternoon just before 3:45 p.m.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said 35-year old Jason Williams was contacted and allegedly admitted he pawned firearms at a business in Canyonville. He was also in possession of brass knuckles according to the DCSO report.
Charges included being a felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of a restricted weapon and for unlawful possession/concealment of firearms. He was held on $62,500 bail.
