Detectives have identified the body located alongside the Tiller Trail Highway in May.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said 22-year old Eduardo Garcia Castellnos, a resident of Mexico, was found dead in the 15,000 block of the road on May 18th. O’Dell said the Douglas County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating his death. Detectives say Castellno’s family in Mexico has been notified of his death and are working with officials.
O’Dell said it is believed the man’s body was placed alongside the highway, but the cause and manner of his death are still under investigation. Anyone who has had contact with Castellnos is asked to call the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at 440-4458.
Last month a DCSO release said the man’s death was being investigated as suspicious.
