WOMAN HOSPITALIZED FOLLOWING TWO-VEHICLE CRASH

A Roseburg woman was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon.
A report from Roseburg Police said at about 4:45 p.m. a 71-year old woman attempted to drive onto Diamond Lake Boulevard from Atlanta. She reportedly pulled in front of another vehicle and her van was struck on the driver’s side. The woman lost control of her vehicle and veered into the retaining wall at a business before coming to a stop near the entrance of a second business.
The woman taken to Mercy Medical Center before being transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
