UNITED WAY ANNOUNCES GRANT TO SALVATION ARMY

Greater Douglas United Way has announced a $1,000 grant to the Salvation Army in Roseburg, from their COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund.
Captain Kristy Church of the Salvation Army, said the funds will go to provide laundry assistance to those in need. Church said currently there is not a service or program providing that unmet need. She said assistance will be based on the size of the family being helped.
Those who want to help with the Emergency Response Fund can donate to United Way online at www.gduway.org. Checks can also be mailed to 702 Southeast Jackson in Roseburg, 97470. Donations can also be made at any branch of Banner Bank  in Douglas County.
