The afternoon high temperature was warmer than expected in Roseburg on Wednesday, but it was not a record high.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford, said the mercury reached 82 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. It had been forecast to hit 81 degrees. The record high for the date was 95 degrees, set in 1940.
Medford hit 84 degrees on Wednesday. High temperatures are expected to range from the mid-60s to mid-70s over the next several days in Roseburg.
