A Roseburg woman was cited following a hit and run accident in Roseburg on Monday morning.
A report from Roseburg Police said just before 9:00 a.m. an 89-year old Roseburg woman pulled out of the parking lot of Mini Pet Mart on Northeast Stephens and struck a southbound vehicle, operated by a 44-year old Myrtle Creek woman. The report said the first vehicle left the scene without any attempt to leave her information or assist the injured driver. She was cited and released on charges that include failure to perform the duties of a driver in an injury accident, and failure to yield before entering a roadway.
The driver whose vehicle was hit was transported to Mercy Medical Center for back, neck and leg pain.
