LUNCHBOX EXPRESS SUMMER SCHEDULE RELEASED

The South Umpqua School District Lunchbox Express van will deliver free meals for children at various south county sites from June 15th through August 13th.
Information from the district said the free “grab n’ go” meals are available to all children and teens age 18 years and younger. All meals will meet or exceed USDA requirements, according to the release.
Meals will be available Mondays through Thursdays at the following times and locations:
*11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the Stagecoach Apartments in Canyonville
*11:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Riddle Park in Riddle.
*12:00 p.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Tri-City Elementary
*12:25 p.m. to 12:40 p.m. at the Meadowlark Apartments in Myrtle Creek
*12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Millsite Park in Myrtle Creek
*1:05 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. at Myrtle Terrace Apartments in Myrtle Creek
The summer food program is part of the USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs.
