Umpqua Valley Arts has an interim leader.
A post on the UVA’s Facebook page said that Sandee McGee has taken the helm as Interim Executive Director. McGee has been the UVA Gallery Director since 2013.
The post said the board of the non-profit organization has “the utmost confidence she will provide strong leadership during this time of transition”. The board is continuing to seek someone to head the organization on a permanent basis.
The post said the board and staff are committed more than ever, to building on their recent successes and continuing to serve the community by providing art experiences, art education and creative opportunities.
