A Drain man was hospitalized after a wreck on Friday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said about 1:00 p.m. a 54-year old Sutherlin woman was traveling north on Cedar Street in Drain and attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Division Street, when she was rear-ended by another vehicle.
Afterwords the second driver, a 53-year old man, proceeded to drive through two yards taking out a fence and nearly causing the porch at one home to collapse. The man continued on until his vehicle hit a tree head on, which immediately stopped his vehicle. He was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
