Roseburg High School will have its graduation ceremony in an online format on Saturday and the community can participate by showing up along a parade route headed to the school.
The prerecorded ceremony will be released for public viewing at 11:00 a.m. Go to www.roseburg.k12.or.us for instructions on how to view the event.

Late last month, graduates gathered in small groups with their families to formally receive their diplomas at Rose Theatre on the RHS campus. Principal Jill Weber and other RHS administrators attended each mini-ceremony and graduates received written notes and well-wishes from teachers and community members. The events were captured by a professional videographer and photographer and the edited footage is what will be shared with the community.
The video will also feature prerecorded student and staff speeches. After the ceremony students will stage for the parade between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the former K-Mart store on Stewart Parkway. Weber said beginning at 2:00 p.m. students will parade east on Stewart Parkway then head south on Stephens Street to Washington Street where they will continue west to the RHS campus. Weber told News Radio 1240 KQEN that community members can watch from any public space as long as they follow state distancing requirements for safety.
