COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 161 AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 161 as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 97 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 4,570. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*20 in Washington County
*17 in Marion County
*12 in Multnomah County
*9 each in Jefferson and Hood River counties
*6 in Clackamas County
*5 in Benton County
*4 each in Lincoln and Yamhill counties
*3 in Linn and Wasco counties
*1 each in Douglas, Deschutes, Klamath, and Malheur Umatilla counties
Oregon’s 160th COVID-19 death is a 63-year old man in Multnomah County, who tested positive on April 29th and died June 3th at the Portland VA Medical Center
Oregon’s 161st COVID-19 death is a 96-year old woman in Marion County, who tested positive on May 31st and died June 3rd at Salem Hospital.
Both had underlying medical conditions according to the OHA
