NEIGHBORWORKS UMPQUA FREE TAX PREPARATION SITES OPEN AGAIN

June 3, 2020 10:55 a.m.
NeighborWorks Umpqua has reopened its annual Volunteer Income Tax Assistance tax preparation service.
After being closed due to COVID-19, the VITA sites in Roseburg and Coos Bay are now open to the public for drop-off filing.
A release said those who would like to have their taxes prepared for free during this extended tax season until July 15th, can drop off their paperwork and complete an intake at either of their sites.
Michelle Martin, Director of Community and Economic Development for NeighborWorks Umpqua, said generous donors and skilled volunteers enable many people to file their taxes, who do not normally have the means to do so.
The Roseburg location is open Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm. The coastal site is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Location information and more details about the program are available at www.nwumpqua.org/taxes or by calling 877-527-5630.
