COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 159

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, with the state death toll at 159 as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 65 new and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 4,339. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*18 in Marion County
*13 in Multnomah County
*7 in Clackamas County
*6 in Hood River County
*5 in Washington County
*4 in Yamhill County
*2 each in Umatilla and Wasco counties
*1 each in Benton, Deschutes, Douglas, Jackson, Jefferson, Lincoln, Linn and Polk counties.
County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer told News Radio 1240 KQEN that the Douglas County case is the one reported on Tuesday, by the Douglas Public Health Network.
Oregon’s 158th COVID-19 death is a 68-year old man in Clackamas County who tested positive on May 21st and died on June 2nd.
Oregon’s 159th COVID-19 death is a 60-year old man in Multnomah County, who tested positive on April 17th and died on May 30th.
Both died at Providence Portland Medical Center and had underlying medical conditions, according to the OHA.
