COVID-19 CLAIMS NO MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL REMAINS AT 151

COVID-19 has claimed no more lives, with the state death toll remaining at 151 as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 48 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 4,131. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*18 in Multnomah County
*11 in Maron County
*7 in Washington County
*3 in Jefferson County
*2 in Lincoln County
*1 each in Clackamas, Curry, Douglas, Hood River, Klamath, Lane and Wasco counties
Oregon’s 151st COVID-19 death, which was reported without details on Thursday, is a 72-year old man in Polk County who tested positive on May 1st and died May 25th at his residence. He had underlying medical conditions.
An outbreak of 6 COVID-19 cases has been connected to Duckwall Fruit in Hood River County. The investigation started on Friday. State and county public health officials are working with the business to address the outbreak and protect the health of workers, according to OHA.
