ONE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER TWO VEHICLE CRASH

One person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash on Monday morning.
Information from the Roseburg Police said just after 8:30 a.m. a 48-year old man was traveling west on Garden Valley Boulevard as he approached the intersection with Airport and Cedar. As the man got close to the intersection, his light turned red, but he went through the intersection anyway, according to the report.
A 38-year old woman was going south on Airport Road and was crossing the intersection onto Cedar Street. The first vehicle struck the second, causing significant damage to both vehicles. The driver hit was taken to Mercy Medical Center for evaluation after showing signs of a concussion. She was treated and released. The driver that caused the accident was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device,
