The victim in Friday’s fatal motorhome fire in Green has been identified.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said deputies and firefighters were dispatched to the fire in the 5400 block of Grange Road just before 12:30 p.m. O’Dell said when they arrived, the front half of the motorhome was found to be on fire. Once it was extinguished, the body of 75-year old Gerald Mabry was located inside. The Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office later determined that the fire was accidental.
The Douglas County Medical Examiners Office conducted the death investigation.
