Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a hit and run crash which took place early Tuesday.
A DCSO report said at about 12:30 a.m. a pickup was found crashed in a field near the intersection of Green Valley Road and Memory Lane in the Oakland area. When law enforcement arrived, there was no one with the vehicle. The report said the registered owner was contacted and said he let a friend borrow the pickup, but would not say who the person was.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the driver is asked to contact DCSO.
