The status of this year’s Douglas County Fair may become official on Tuesday.
The event has not been canceled as of yet but the Fair Board will have its monthly meeting Tuesday morning. Staff said an announcement would likely follow the meeting. The board will gather at 7:00 a.m. at the fairgrounds.
Under guidance from Oregon Governor Kate Brown, all large gatherings are to be cancelled until at least the end of September, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
