A 27-year old man was jailed on a felony strangulation charge on Sunday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said on April 25th, deputies investigated a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Reuben Road in Glendale, involving Jackson Lavine and a female victim. The report said the suspect had left the scene before deputies arrived. Deputies developed probable cause for arresting Lavine for causing minor injuries to the victim.
On Sunday, deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 2000 block of Glendale Valley Road. The operator was Lavine and he was taken into custody. A charge of fourth degree assault was added. The man was detained on $56,250 bail.
