The Douglas County Major Crimes Team has been activated after a deceased body was found in the 15,000 block of the Tiller Trail Highway on Monday morning.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 6:25 a.m. dispatchers received a report regarding the body.
O’Dell said deputies along with the Milo Fire Department responded to the scene. Detectives and the Douglas County Medical Examiner’s Office were also dispatched. The incident is currently under investigation. O’Dell said the death is being investigated as suspicious.
No further details are being released at this time according to DCSO.
