NO ONE HURT WHEN VEHICLE ENDS UP IN FIELD

No one was hurt when a driver lost control and his vehicle ended up in a field on Wednesday afternoon.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at about 1:45 p.m. the 58-year old man, described as a transient, was allegedly driving about 70 miles per hour in the 3,000 block of Happy Valley Road, when the accident took place.
The report said the man tried to drive the vehicle out of the field but it got stuck in the mud. A tow company was unable to get the vehicle out of the field.
The man was charged with driving uninsured and for failure to maintain a lane.
