Effective immediately, Aviva Health’s Glide location is again open for regular business hours, after a 50-day closure due to the COVID-19 emergency.
The clinic operates Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
A release said as a precautionary measure related to COVID-19, walk-in patients are not yet allowed. Anyone wishing to be seen, must call the clinic in advance to make an appointment. The release said all patients showing up for an appointment are encouraged to wear a mask and staff continues to adhere to all PPE recommendations of local, state, and federal health officials.
While its medical clinics in Myrtle Creek, Sutherlin, North County and Roseburg never closed, a majority of patient visits are virtual at this point, according to the release.
Aviva Health CEO KC Bolton said they are continuing to monitor the situation in Douglas County and are paying close attention to the governor’s decisions around a phased reopening of the economy. Bolton said “we, like so many Oregonians, are eager to return to some semblance of normal, but our top priority remains and always will be the health and safety of our patients, staff and community”. He said Aviva will continue to follow the recommendations of the local public health authority and state and federal officials.
