The Roseburg City Council will be meeting via Zoom on Monday night.
Councilors will consider resolutions regarding the possible delaying of most annual fee increases to 2021, raising the cost of renting the Ford Community Room at the library, and a new “re-inspection fee” by the Community Development Department. Staff is also seeking approval to apply for a grant from the State of Oregon Parks and Recreation Department to develop a trail system at Sunshine Park.
The agenda also includes deciding on whether to extend the declaration of the State of Emergency in Roseburg, and whether to delegate authority to City Manager Nikki Messenger to finalize a United Community Action Network grant. A discussion on a potential Sobering Center will be held as well.
No public comment will be taken. Residents who have written comments on any agenda item can email the City Recorder’s office before 4:00 p.m. at: info@cityofroseburg.org.
