MAN JAILED FOR BUSINESS BURGLARY

A Roseburg man was jailed on Thursday, charged with burglarizing a business.
Information from Roseburg Police said 25-year old Nickolas Kaisershot had been developed as a suspect in a burglary from Bob’s Deli on Wednesday. At about 4:30 p.m. the man was seen running towards the train yard on Mosher. An officer attempted to detain him and the suspect allegedly took off running. Kaisershot reportedly fought with an officer on Sheridan before running towards Mosher, where he was finally taken into custody.
He was charged with second degree burglary, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, first degree criminal trespass, resisting arrest, third degree escape and for a parole violation. Kaisershot was detained without bail.
