A Roseburg woman was cited for a fire at a downtown camp on Wednesday night.
Information from the Roseburg Police said just before 7:00 p.m. officers responded to the 200 block of Pine to assist the Roseburg Fire Department with the fire underneath the pedestrian bridge at Deer Creek Park.
The report said firefighters were attempting to extinguish the fire and repeatedly asked the 29-year old woman to put it out, but she refused. After an officer also asked her to put it out and she refused and would not identify herself, she was detained.
The woman was charged with prohibited outdoor burning, depositing trash within 100 yards of a waterway and for interfering with a firefighter.
She was released after the citation
