MAN JAILED AFTER WALKING INTO TRAFFIC

A 69-year old man was jailed after walking into traffic on Tuesday.
Information from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said multiple reports had come in regarding the man walking in the road in the 200 block of South Main Street in the Canyonville area, and disrupting traffic. The man was warned and told to stay out of the roadway. As the deputy was leaving the man allegedly walked into the road in front of the deputy, causing two vehicles to swerve.
The man was taken into custody and charged with second degree disorderly conduct. Bail was initially set at $2,500. He was released from custody on Wednesday.
