ROSEBURG COUNCIL TO HOLD FIRST VIRTUAL MEETING

April 24, 2020 4:00 a.m. 
The Roseburg City Council will have its first ever virtual council meeting on Monday night.
Communications Specialist Eric Johnson said Zoom will be used to conduct the meeting.
City Recorder Amy Sowa said “the City knows the importance of keeping the public informed and engaged during this unprecedented time”. She encouraged residents to watch the meeting from the safety of their home.
The meeting can be seen on three platforms: On the city’s website, on its Facebook page, and on Charter cable channel 191. Links to the online sites are posted with this story at www.541radio.com

Members of the public who would like to provide comments regarding items on the agenda, can email City Recorder Amy Sowa at info@cityofroseburg.org by 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Emailed comments must include the person’s name, address and agenda item to which their comments are referencing. Mayor Larry Rich will read the comments aloud during the meeting.
