Country artist Brett Young is set to play at this summer’s Douglas County Fair.
Fairgrounds staff made the announcement on Friday during a presentation on its Facebook page. Marketing Director Brenda Mayberry said one artist will be announced each week until the entire main-stage entertainment lineup has been released.
Young is a platinum selling artist, most known for songs like “In Case You Didn’t Know”, “Here Tonight”, “Catch” and “Sleep Without You”. In 2018, he was the Academy of Country Music, New Male Vocalist of the Year.
All concerts are free with fair admission. Reserved seating is available for an additional cost. Mayberry said staff is continuing to assess social distancing regulations and will have more information soon on any changes. A date to begin selling tickets to the event has not yet been set.
