Staff with the Douglas County Fairgrounds will announce one of the main-stage acts they are planning to feature at this summer’s county fair, on Friday.
An announcement on the fairground’s Facebook page said staff is anticipating being able to have the fair, which is scheduled for August 4th through 8th. The announcement said they are working with public health officials to develop and implement proper social distancing and safety procedures for the event.
Marketing Director Brenda Mayberry told News Radio 1240 KQEN the concert announcement will be handled differently this year. She said the Wednesday August 5th artist will be announced on their Facebook page at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Mayberry said one artist will be announced each week until the entire lineup has been unveiled.
