The Douglas County Take Root Parenting Connection is holding a Facebook Live event on Wednesday night, with information on how families can navigate the emotions sparked by the coronavirus pandemic.
“Stress Management Facing COVID-19” will be presented by Jason Wilcox, a licensed clinical social worker. It will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the group’s Facebook page.
A release said the page also has tips and resources for children, parents and families on various topics regarding COVID-19.
The Take Root Parenting Connection is an outreach of the Douglas Education Service District.
