Two people were hospitalized after a house fire late Sunday night.
A report from the Roseburg Fire Department said crews were sent to the 2400 block of West Jay Street at about 11:30 p.m.
Fire Marshal Monte Bryan said someone at the home reported the fire and said other residents were still inside. Another report came in after that saying that everyone had been able to evacuate the structure.
Firefighters arrived on the scene to find heavy fire and smoke coming from the front and rear portions of the residence. Bryan said firefighters made an interior attack to extinguish the fire, conducted a primary and secondary search and completed overhaul. Five adults and two dogs were displaced due to the fire.
Bryan said the house sustained structural and water damage and is no longer habitable. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
14 firefighters assisted with firefighting operations. Several other agencies assisted at the scene.
