A Roseburg man was jailed on a felony strangulation charge on Friday.
Information from Roseburg Police said shortly before 9:00 a.m. 28-year old Brandon Widdifield got in an argument with a female victim in the 400 block of Hewitt. The woman alleged the suspect ended up on top of her, and pressed his knee against her throat, preventing her from breathing.
Widdifield was detained on $50,000 bail.
