ROSEBURG HAS WARMEST DAY OF THE YEAR SO FAR

Roseburg had its warmest day of the year so far on Thursday, but it was not a record temperature.
Data from the National Weather Service, said the mercury reached 79 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The record high for the date was 83 degrees, set in 1959. Roseburg was also the second warmest place in Oregon on Thursday, only eclipsed by Medford which hit 82 degrees. Medford did not have a record high either. Its record for the date was 85 degrees, set in 1989.
Roseburg is forecast to stay in the lower 70’s for the next week, except on Saturday when temperatures are slated to cool to the middle 60’s.
