Douglas Timber Operators plans to award 3 $2,500 scholarships this year.
A DTO release said applicants must live in Douglas, Lane or Coos counties and have the intention to major in a natural resources field. Eligible institutions include any public or private accredited post-secondary institution in Oregon, or out-of-state.

The deadline to apply has been extended to May 8th at 5:00 p.m. due to the COVID-19 situation.
