COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, 64 MORE CASES REPORTED

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives in Oregon with 64 new cases reported as of Monday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said the total number of cases in the state now stands at 1,132. The new cases include:
*12 in Washington County
*11 in Marion County
*10 in Multnomah County
*6 cases each in Jackson and Clackamas counties
*3 cases each in Josephine and Klamath counties
*2 cases each in Curry, Benton, Lane, Columbia and Polk counties
*1 case each in Douglas, Deschutes, Linn and Umatilla counties
Oregon’s 28th COVID-19 death is a 93-year old man in Washington County who tested positive on March 30th and died on April 2nd at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
Oregon’s 29th COVID-19 death is a 70-year old woman in Marion County who tested positive April 1st and died April 2nd at her residence.
Both had underlying health conditions according to OHA.
A case reported Sunday as a Yamhill County case has since been determined to be a Washington County case. The total number of new cases in Washington County is now 12 to reflect that change. The case that moved between counties is not reflected in the total number of new cases.
So far 20,669 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in Oregon, out of 21,801 that have been tested.
