1 new case of COVID-19 has been reported in Douglas County as of Monday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the number of positive cases has reached 12 in the county. There have been zero deaths and 416 people have tested negative for COVID-19.
The Douglas Public Health Network has begun their epidemiologic investigation, identifying individuals who may have had close contact with the individual who tested positive. Identifying information about the new positive case is not being released, to protect the patient’s privacy.
