NO NEW CASES OF COVID-19 IN DOUGLAS COUNTY

There are no new cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County as of Sunday.
Information from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the number of positive cases remains at 11. 1 has recovered and 355 people have tested negative for COVID-19.
The 7th Douglas Public Health Network COVID-19 drive through testing clinic was completed on Saturday in Reedsport. 9 people were tested after orders for a COVID-19 test came from their health care provider. Over 200 people have been tested at DPHN clinics.
In a show of solidarity for the healthcare workers in coastal Douglas County, local first responders held a processional of emergency vehicles through the parking lot of Lower Umpqua Hospital on Saturday evening. Hospital staff stood outside in the rain, smiling and waving at the passing vehicles.
The local COVID-19 hotline remains open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. where residents can get their questions answered by local volunteers. The number to call is 464-6550.
