A Myrtle Creek woman was jailed following a disturbance on Wednesday afternoon.
Information from the Myrtle Creek Police Department said at about 1:40 p.m. officers were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of Northeast Johnson for a medical aid call. The report said officers discovered that the 30-year old had allegedly struck and kicked an elderly man. She was also found to be under the influence, according to the report. The woman allegedly was uncooperative with officers and also fought with the jail staff when she was lodged.
She was charged with harassment, and for a probation violation, and was detained without bail.
