COVID-19 CLAIMS 1 MORE LIFE, 47 NEW CASES IN OREGON

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life, with 47 new cases reported in Oregon as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said the new data raises the state’s death toll to 19. The state’s number of cases is now at 736.
The new cases include:
*18 in Multnomah County
*10 in Marion County
*6 in Clackamas County
*3 each in Washington and Deschutes counties
*2 in Lane County
*1 each in Benton, Douglas, Jackson, Lincoln and Yamhill counties
The Douglas County case had been reported by local officials on Tuesday. One case previously reported in Hood River County has since been identified as a resident of Washington state.
Oregon’s 19th death is a 70-year old woman in Multnomah County. She tested positive on March 27th and died on March 29th at her residence. She had underlying health conditions, according to OHA.
