An Umpqua man was jailed on an assault count by Roseburg Police on Monday afternoon.
The RPD report said at about 2:50 p.m. 25-year old Ryan Heaven and a female victim were involved in a disturbance in the 2400 block of Crestview. The report said during the argument, the man allegedly pushed the victim down, causing the woman to injure her wrist. The report said she sought treatment at Mercy Medical Center and found that her wrist was broken.
Heaven was charged with fourth degree assault, a felony, and was detained on $50,000 bail.
