A Roseburg man was jailed, charged with strangulation and harassment, on Tuesday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s office said deputies went to the 2400 block of Old Highway 99 South, just after 12:30 a.m. 40-year old Tory Jones allegedly choked a victim, shoved her into a doorway, and punched her in the side of the face. The report said the victim had visible marks on her neck and face indicative of being choked and punched.
Jones was initially detained on $8,750 bail.
