COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives in Oregon and 84 new cases have been reported as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said the state’s death toll now stands at 18. The state’s total number of cases is now 690. The new cases include:
*18 each in Marion and Washington counties
*16 in Multnomah County
*10 in Clackamas County
*4 in Lane County
*3 each in Benton and Polk counties
*2 each in Wasco and Yamhill counties
*1 each in Malheur, Jackson, Klamath, Lincoln, Douglas, Linn, Umatilla and Hood River counties.
The Douglas County case reported by OHA had been reported by local officials on Monday.
Oregon’s 17th COVID-19 death is a 90-year old man in Yamhill County. He tested positive on March 25th and died on Sunday at Providence Newberg Medical Center.
Oregon’s 18th COVID-19 death is an 88-year old woman in Benton County. She tested positive on March 26th and died on Monday at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis.
Both had underlying medical conditions.
