A woman was jailed for allegedly hitting a man with a hammer last week.
Information released Monday from the Sutherlin Police Department said last Wednesday at about 12:30 a.m. a victim reported that 58-year old Mary Twidwell had struck him. The victim had an injury on his arm consistent with the report.
A hammer was also found inside the RV on Recreation Lane.
Twidell was charged with menacing, second degree assault and for unlawful use of a weapon. After arraignment, she remained detained on $50,000 bail.
