COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives in Oregon, with 58 new cases being reported Monday by the Oregon Health Authority.
The update said the state’s death total is now at 16 and the total number of cases is 606.
New cases reported include:
*14 each in Washington and Marion counties
*9 in Multnomah County
*4 each in Douglas and Josephine counties
*2 each in Deschutes, Lane, Wasco and Polk counties
*1 each in Benton, Jackson, Clackamas, Tillamook and Yamhill counties
One of the Douglas County cases was reported by local officials on Sunday.
Oregon’s 14th COVID-19 death is a 91-year old man in Yamhill County. He tested positive on March 20th and died at Providence Newberg Medical Center.
Oregon’s 15th COVID-19 death is an 81-year old man in Clackamas County. He tested positive on March 22nd and died at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center.
Oregon’s 16th COVID-19 death is a 91-year old man in Linn County. He tested positive March 15th and died at the Oregon Veteran’s Home in Lebanon.
All 3 patients died on Sunday and had underlying medical conditions.
