A Roseburg man was taken to jail following an incident on Thursday afternoon.
Information from Roseburg Police said at about 4:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of domestic violence in the 1000 block of Northeast Cedar. A 36-year old man was detained for allegedly assaulting the victim by striking her with his knee, in front of a child. The suspect was charged with 4th degree assault.
