Members of the Oregon National Guard, in conjunction with the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, delivered 150 military cots along with blankets and hygiene packs to LaGrande on Thursday.
A release from the Oregon Military Department said the supplies were requested by Union County Emergency Management to support the ongoing medical response in Oregon.
The release said a team of four National Guardsmen assembled the cots, and other items on Wednesday in Salem, and then loaded and transported them the next day.
In addition, the team is scheduled to support a Grant County request by assisting in setting up a temporary military structure at the Blue Mountain Hospital in John Day. It will be used as a short-term medical station when and if it is needed.
