1 NEW DEATH, 98 NEW CASES OF COVID-19

COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life in Oregon, and 98 new cases were reported on Friday.
A release from the Oregon Health Authority said the state’s death toll from COVID-19 now stands at 12. The number of cases is 414.
Of the new cases reported:
*26 cases are from Marion County
*22 cases are from Multnomah County
*18 cases are from Washington County
*10 cases are from Clackamas County
*4 cases each from Yamhill and Polk counties
*3 cases are from Deschutes County
*2 cases each are from Lane, Jackson and Linn counties
*1 case each from Douglas, Columbia, Klamath, Umatilla, Morrow, and Wasco counties
The Douglas County case had been reported by the Douglas Public Health Network on Thursday.
Oregon’s 12 COVID-19 death is an 82-year old woman in Marion County. She tested positive on March 20th and died on Wednesday at Salem Hospital. She had underlying medical conditions, according to OHA.
